The AI Visibility Index.

Every period we run the same portfolio of buying questions against the main AI engines and record which brands are mentioned, recommended and cited. The result is an open benchmark of how AI answers treat the AEO category itself, published with its raw data.

The first measurement cycle is currently running. The index publishes monthly with its raw JSON data and a written analysis on the blog.

Methodology

Fixed prompt portfolio

A versioned set of buying questions about AEO, GEO and AI visibility services, in English and Spanish, covering informational, comparison, best-provider and white-label intents.

Repeated sampling per engine

Each prompt runs against ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok and Perplexity on a schedule. For every answer we record mentioned brands, recommended brands, positions and cited domains.

Reproducible aggregates

Mention, recommendation and citation rates are recomputed from the raw results by our validation pipeline before publication; a mismatch blocks the release. Past periods are append-only and never edited.

Honest limits

AI answers vary by session, location and phrasing. The index reports sampled rates with their sample sizes, not absolute truths, and we measure our own brand with the same rules as everyone else.
