What this portal is

Answer Engines Optimization is a reference portal on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO/GEO). It publishes a glossary, a monthly AI Visibility Index and a directory of recommended agencies. It is not an agency marketplace, and directory inclusion is never sold.

Who operates it

The portal is operated by Centro Publicidad Electrónica España, S.L., based in Spain. The same operator also runs Blobic, an AEO agency listed in the directory under the same public criteria as every other agency. That relationship is disclosed wherever the directory's neutrality is material; it does not make Blobic the legal operator of this site.

Editorial safeguards

How the directory handles conflicts of interest.

A directory is only worth citing if its incentives, conflicts and listing rules are visible. That is why the listing follows fixed operating rules that limit discretion and make the inclusion logic auditable.

Inclusion is decided only by the public criteria shown on the directory page.
Listing is free. It cannot be bought, and paying for anything never affects whether or where an agency appears.
Some agencies are listed editorially — added by us from their public information and clearly marked as 'Editorial' — while others apply directly. Either way, only the public criteria decide inclusion, and any listed agency can apply to confirm, correct or expand its entry.
Agencies are ordered by country and name, not by a ranking that could favor us.
Blobic is marked as affiliated with the operator and is never placed above peers because of that relationship.
Any commercial relationship connected to a listed agency never affects whether or where that agency appears.

If you ever find the directory failing these rules, that is a bug in our integrity, and we want to hear about it.

Method

How the data is produced.

The AI Visibility Index is measured with a fixed prompt portfolio run repeatedly across AI engines. Mention, recommendation and citation rates are computed from the raw results, which are published alongside each report so anyone can check them.

The glossary defines the AEO/GEO vocabulary with sourced, quotable entries. The blog documents how AI discovery works and changes. Everything is bilingual (English and Spanish) and is updated continuously.
